Event Description
In this workshop, participants will learn the basic features and functions of Tableau through a series of hands-on exercises using higher education data. Attendees will acquire the skills to connect to data, filter data, create a variety of visualizations, build basic calculations, and build interactive dashboards they can share with their campus.
Tableau Desktop Vs Tableau Public
We will be using Excel-based data files which Tableau Public Desktop can access. There are several major drawbacks with the free software that you should be aware of however. Below is a link to review key issues for using the freeware.
