Key responsibilities of the Research Associate:
- Assist with research projects, including data collection, analysis, reporting, and visualization.
- Report information to the Integrated Post-Secondary Education Data System (IPEDS), the New England Commission on Higher Education, publishers of college guidebooks, and other organizations as applicable.
- Prepare routine and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and detailed listings for internal constituents.
- Assist with research projects, including data collection, analysis, reporting, and visualization.
- Conduct industry research through public data sets.
- Provide administrative support for the department, including planning and scheduling meetings, events, site visits, and accreditation activities.
- Support the submission and approval process of new degree programs with the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry work experience
- Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with administrators, faculty and staff
- Ability to prioritize and manage a multitude of ongoing processes where accuracy and timeliness are essential
- Knowledge of statistical package(s) such as SPSS, and SQL Reporting Languages such as COGNOS
- Additional software expertise includes the Microsoft Office Suite
