Neumann University is currently seeking qualified applicants for the full-time position of Director for Institutional Research and Effectiveness. This position operates the Office of Institutional Research & Effectiveness. The Director provides direct support to the President and coordinates institutional research and institutional effectiveness assessment for the University; collects and analyzes data in support of the institutional and strategic plan objectives; coordinates and responds to requests for institutional information from internal and external sources; actively participates in planning, surveying various constituencies; assists in the development and monitoring of the University’s strategic plan. The Director will work in consultation and collaboration with the VPAA, Academic Divisions Council (ADC), Faculty Senate Learning Outcomes Committee (LOAC), NU Core Director, and faculty in implementing, and regularly revising Neumann’s academic assessment plan. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordinating the production of all federal and state reporting; providing needed data to complete grant applications; responsible for managing data and relationships associated with industry rankings; monitoring regulations and requirements; responding to external surveys; and advising on assessment requirements deriving from regional and specialized accreditors. Qualifications: Graduate degree in relevant field; experience in a higher education institution, or other complex service organization; working knowledge of data systems, particularly Datatel preferred; well-developed oral, written and organizational skills with excellent quantitative and analytical skills, knowledge of statistics, and experience utilizing computer applications; integrity, willingness, and ability to work independently with cooperative attitude; flexibility of schedule; effective communication and interpersonal skills.
