Brief Description
This is a project-based position exclusively focused on planning, coordinating, and executing the university’s COVID-19 surveillance testing and managing associated data. Surveillance testing will be required for all students who will be living or attending classes on campus and will also be open to university staff and faculty. The incumbent will partner closely with the COVID-19 Surveillance Testing Nurse Manager, as well as with a number of other campus partners, including Health Services, Marketing and Communications, and the Health & Safety Protocols Task Force. This position will operate with significant autonomy and will report to the Provost. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced professional who seeks to contribute to the university’s COVID-19 efforts on a project basis. The need for this position is immediate and is expected to continue through May 2021.

Job Details
Plans, coordinates, and reports on the university’s surveillance testing efforts, which will be conducted on a biweekly basis for the duration of the Spring 2021 semester.  (Symptomatic testing will be handled by University Health Services.) This will involve close partnership with the COVID19 Surveillance Testing Nurse Manager.

Obtains, verifies, and prepares data for integration into the University’s existing COVID-19 dashboards.  Ensures that data is accurate, timely, and complete. May be asked to modify or redesign existing dashboards as needed.  Data will include reports from Navica application/software as well as from other sources.

Monitors testing results, identifies trends, and discusses potential issues with Nurse Manager, Director of Health Services, and other campus partners. 

Works with Health Services, Marketing & Communications, and others to share and report data. 

Performs other related duties as assigned.
