- Endicott College is seeking a Institutional Research Analyst to provide analytical and administrative support for projects and reports prepared by the Office of Research and Planning.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate, collect, and submit required external reports/submissions/surveys (routine and ad hoc) including but not limited to IPEDS, New England Board of Higher Education, US News, College Board, Princeton Review, Peterson’s, and Common Data Set.
Develop Excel/Word reports and Tableau visualizations that help identify, explain, and communicate important findings for various reporting, institutional improvement, and student success for internal constituents.
Compile data sets for analysis, primarily through extraction utilizing Cognos 10 reporting tool and Excel, and then data cleaning/merging using Tableau Prep.
Complete internal reporting and provide routine and ad hoc data to/for various offices on campus, including but not limited to enrollment reports, retention reports, financial aid reporting, program review and accreditation, and other data needed to facilitate management decision-making, assessment, planning, and policy development.
Consistently complete clear and detailed documentation of processes to enable efficient duplication and foster easy transitioning/training of others.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience
Two or more years in an institutional research office or commensurate experience in higher education
One or more years building data visualizations using Tableau or other data visualization tool (e.g., Power BI, etc.)
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical abilities
Detail-orientated; can deliver consistent and accurate results
Ability to work collaboratively with administrators, faculty, and staff
Ability to prioritize and manage a multitude of ongoing processes where accuracy and timeliness are essential
Working knowledge with SPSS and Microsoft Office Suite; and languages such as SQL
