Event Description
Recent research conducted by Forrester Consulting (2022) notes that 69% of leaders say a lack of data skills stops employees from using data effectively in decision-making. Decision-makers also basic data skills are rated among the most important skills for employees to succeed in day-to-day work. Over the last three academic years, the Office of Institutional Research & Decision Support at Bridgewater State University has engaged in a number of opportunities and events with a data literacy focus, including three we’d like to highlight in this PDS: Data Cafés, a Student Engagement Survey Data Roadshow, and International Love Data Week. We look forward to sharing our strategies, what we’ve learned, and how we continue to iterate and improve for next year.
