• This position supports both the Institutional Research Office and the Registrar’s Office in the continuous improvement of data collection, storage, and retrieval systems that lead to institutional effectiveness. • Works with others on campus to support student success. This position works extensively with our student database management system to create reports, extract data, and report university data for external surveys, including state and federal reports. • Responsible for written and direct interaction with faculty, students, staff, administration, and external agencies and organizations regarding student records. • Takes action regarding work process efficiencies and improvement opportunities and shares best practices, new solutions, and ideas to improve processes and policies with the Registrar team in order to create a “culture of continuous improvement”. • Manages the maintenance of technology of existing computer systems and the introduction of new technology to improve registrar-related functions and services. • Other duties as assigned • Must be able to support and promote the University’s Mission.

Education: Master’s degree required. Course work in statistics, math, research, computer science, or related discipline required.
Experience: Must have robust knowledge of Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R, etc.).
Skills: Must have excellent computer skills and an ability to adapt to new and often changing technological processes; excellent verbal and written communication skills; detail-oriented; ability to work independently and collaboratively; possess a strong desire to learn new skills; and, ensure confidentiality of our data.
