The new senior director will possess a strategic understanding of the integral role of enrollment analytics in supporting new student enrollment, student success and net tuition revenue; will be adept at identifying, designing, and carrying out the research and analysis required for complex decisions; and will have a track record of ensuring organizations make sound, evidence-based decisions and of promoting strategic alignment.

An expert in cross-functional and data information systems, the senior director will develop strategy to analyze student recruitment activity, financial aid information and enrollment data in support of the university's enrollment processes. Since its inception, NYU has been a distinctly urban university, one that its founder, Albert Gallatin, called a university that is "in and of the city." Today, NYU has evolved into a university that is "in and of the great cities of the world." NYU's global network comprises three degree-granting portal campuses: one in the heart of New York City, a second in Abu Dhabi, and a third in Shanghai. Currently, the university enrolls over 26,000 undergraduate and nearly 25,000 graduate students. With stellar faculty and students engaged in world-class scholarship, twelve degree programs, a 94% first-year student retention rate and undergraduate and graduate programs that are consistently ranked among the best in the nation, NYU is positioned among the top institutions of higher education.
