Job Details
The Senior Director of Planning and Institutional Effectiveness is responsible for leading the College in the development and implementation of institutional processes and systems that assist the College in evaluating and improving its effectiveness as a learning-centered institution.  The Senior Director of Planning and Institutional Effectiveness actively promotes institutional effectiveness by overseeing continuous improvement processes for campus accountability and decision-making, include, but not limited to, annual and strategic planning, student learning outcomes assessment, program/service evaluation, accreditation, governance, and internal and external reporting.

Education and experience - Master's degree in statistics, social science, educational administration, or management. Coursework and/or specialized training in planning, evaluation and research required. Six to eight years of diverse and progressively responsible experience in educational administration and management, directly related to the responsibilities of this position, with emphasis on planning, organizational efficiency and research. Familiarity with accreditation requirements and processes. Experience with Microsoft Office applications and statistical analysis software, SPSS preferred. Experience working with institutional databases in higher education environment.

Skills and abilities - Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Excellent organization and follow-through skills, as well as attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Project management experience and ability to multi-task. Must be able to work within a team building environment and self-managed work groups. Experience with facilitating group process resulting in collaborative decision-making.
