Event Description
R is a free, powerful, open-source programming language that offers expansive analytics capabilities through additional code libraries. This webinar will introduce one of these packages, tidyverse, that makes R code easier to write and read. By the end of this session, participants will be able to: identify the reasons why tidyverse might be useful in IR work, distinguish between base R and tidyverse syntax, install and load the tidyverse library, identify functions in the tidyverse that are useful in institutional research work, and recall syntax rules for writing tidyverse functions and code. Participants will also be able to practice coding throughout the session. This webinar is designed for those new to coding with the tidyverse or for those who want a refresher on some of the core tidyverse functions.
Participants in this session will be able to:
Format: Webinar - recorded sessions in which attendees view content and interact only via chat
Cost: $40 - Member; $100 Non-Member
Presenter: Marianne Bujacich, Georgetown University
